the choir were just fabulous, performed about 20 pieces from Mozart to Maori, singing, dancing, brilliant
I really enjoyed the weekend with Kay. We had to pick Kirsty up at 10 this morning. She was tired and the weather wasn't great over there so we came back here, dropped Kirsty off and took the dogs for a walk.
Can't find my phone tonight, despite calling it. Haven't needed it all day. Hope it's not in Tauranga – will phone the motel in the morning!
Been a spate of quakes in and around Wellington, you may have heard. 6.5 and only 11km deep. One was widely felt here, not by me, but Kirsty says she felt it. Other friends in Cambridge said they felt it so maybe she did, or maybe it was the washing machine spinning! Hope it's not winding up for the big one.
She has a singing lesson in the morning at 9 and the competitions on Tues, so I hope she can erase the songs of the last week and remind herself what she needs to do for these – she has 6 to do.
Hope your flight was ok and you arrive not too jet lagged, maybe organise a time to skype?
