Chris and the girls few down on Sunday whilst I pottered around the Kiwi Science and Natural History Museums in Auckland. On Monday Alex arrived after a marathon flight from London, we grazed in the lounge for a few hours and then headed south to Queenstown, an awesome flight across the Southern Alps and landing between the lake and the mountains. Lots of happy reunions at the arrivals hall.
We wasted no time in catching up with Tom and Collen (more friends who came here to see us) for a skating lesson followed by a trip up the gondala and a blast down the luge. Back to town to collect skis so we can have a day on the mountains on Tuesday.
Not surprisingly Alex went to sleep quickly...
